بيش از نيم تن مواد مخدر در هرات حريق گرديد.

مقامات محلي در ولايت هرات در غرب افغانستان مي گويند بيش از 640 كيلوگرام مواد مخدر كه طي سه ماه گذشته از نقاط مختلف اين ولايت كشف و ضبط گرديده بود حريق گرديده است.
سمونوال نورخان نيكزاد سخنگوي قومانداني پوليس هرات ضمن اين خبر به آژانس خبرى وخت گفت که، اين مواد شامل ،این مواد شامل 176 کیلوگرام هیرویین , 19 کیلوگرام مورفین , 436 کیلوگرام تریاک , 7 کیلوگرام چرس و 299 لیتر مواد کیمیاوی بود که با حظور داشت هیأت حریق و از بین برده شد.
وى افزود: (( اين مقدار مواد مخدر در بيش از چهل واقعه از سوي ارگان هاي امنيتي كشف و ضبط گرديد و بيش از چهل تن به اين اتهام بازداشت شدند. ))
بنا به اظهارات وي طى يك سال گذشته اين سومين بار است كه مواد مخدر كشف شده از سوي ارگان هاي دولتي با حضور داشت هئيت عالي رتبه حريق ميگردد.
هرات به دليل داشتن مرز مشترك با كشورهاي ايران و تركمنستان جايگاه قاچاق مواد مخدر از سوي قاچاقچيان مخدر محسوب مي شود.
