On Tuesday night, Afghan National Security Forces with International Security Assistance Force partners carried out an operation to execute a warrant issued by the Ministry of Interior to arrest a suspected insurgent in Logar province.

The Ministry of Interior and ISAF combined force cordoned the suspect's compound and made sure all residents exited safely. Afghan officials then arrested three individuals including the suspected insurgents. A rifle and quantity of small arms ammunition was also seized.

No civilians were injured during the conduct of this operation.
